This week, we discovered new tasks... Let´s try to think that it is exciting! One of them is to fix fences to avoid free grazing sheeps to eat all the young trees. At least, there is a little bit of action when you have to cross a wide ford with the tractor.
Second activity : clean a path by crushing the branches which lay on it. We used a big machine tied at the bottom of the tractor. The branches enter the machine by the lowest part (the big squared hole) and come out of the cheminey as wood chips.

At last, to finish on a more optimistic note, a poetic picture of pollinisation of a female cone of Sitka spruce. Then, the cone will close itself on the pollen to allow the fecondation and the development of the seed to occur in a safe place. Finally, it will open itself again to liberate a small winged seed which may become a new tree depending on the nature.
